I take great pride and pleasure in welcoming you to Broad Oak Sports College. Ours is a dynamic and innovative school which uses sport’s guiding principles of harnessing individual skill and team spirit to ensure our students achieve their full potential – on both the academic and the sporting fields. We are also increasingly applying that philosophy to the teaching of work-related skills which are an ever more important part of the curriculum.

We are not just a 9.00am 3.30pm school, but one that serves its students and the wider community through extensive out-of-school activities. For students that includes sport, music and drama whilst the community also benefits from family and adult learning opportunities and our wonderful sports facilities which are open to the public in the evenings, weekends and holidays.

We insist on the highest standards of student behaviour and appearance, offer a supportive and superbly equipped environment and highly dedicated, professional teachers. We embrace traditional values of discipline and respect but embrace innovative new ideas and technologies which engage young minds.
