Broad Oak has invested heavily in information communications technology (ICT) to ensure we can offer access to excellent facilities and software. We have had great success with e-learning initiatives which have helped students to significantly improve key numeracy and literacy skills. We have state-of-the-art ICT suites, banks of wireless laptops and interactive whiteboards in every classroom. ICT is used both within the classroom and through the internet, to allow students to learn successfully at school and at home. We use the technology and techniques with which young people today are so comfortable – and which makes learning stimulating and exciting.

Teaching excellence
We are lucky in being a school small enough to devote quality time to every child and yet large enough to offer specialist teachers in every subject. Our teaching combines traditional, proven techniques and equipment with dynamic new ideas and technologies to help children achieve their very best.

Every child really matters
No two children are the same. Each has their own skills, talents and interests. Educationally one size does not fit all which is why we offer a balanced education to suit all needs. We offer excellent programmes to develop those who are gifted and talented, find learning more difficult or who have English as a second language. But whatever your child’s educational needs we are here to support them.
